Leaving in... THREE days!
I helped Nick move things into his car tonight. I felt a tinge of sadness... =( Things will be so different from now on... boo...
The weather is awful and NBC plays same thing over and over again!
Cleaning out my closet, taking bumper stickers and posters off my door and walls, cleaning up the bulleting board...
::Emptiness::

Saturday--
Lunch with David and Yoshimi JDSN! It was wonderful as always~ Last time, we went to Damon & Pythias, but this time, we went to Sushi Mac. $2.50 sushi~ It was good, except the last dish Yoshimi JDSN got... Wasn't a good color... (?!?)
Then, Hollywood Bowl Tchaikovsky Concert! My parents and I had a little picnic beforehand. It was so nice to have a little outing with them again. Then, I saw Zack! We caught up on some stuff quickly, gave him a plate full of sushi, and headed for an AMAZING concert! The venue was PEEEERFECT! "Piano Concerto No. 1" to "Romeo and Juliet" to "Sleeping Beauty" to "1812 Overture" with fireworks! It was truly spectacular! Except for the obnoxious old Korean couple and this bratty kid (who kept on saying "can we go home now, dad?"), the concert was AWWWWWEEEESOME!
Came home late, tired and sleepy~ But it was great! =)
Sunday--
"Godfather" series day! After teaching piano, I went over to Nick's and watched the "Godfather" series. Ate Costco pizza and endured a long movie (Part I)~
Then, went to Dan's and watched the "Godfather: Part II." After the first video, we went out, got KFC, came back and ate, while complaining about the dryness of the biscuit~ =P
I liked the movie~ hehe I want to watch the last one~ =)
*** On a random note--Too many things to do before I leave for school... too little time... boo... =(

After my econ final, I had this urge to visit Uni again. I thought I never wanted to set my foot again...
I parked by the Stivelman theater gate and hesitated about entering. The adult school people were still around and I didn't want to seem like I was just "loitering."
With much courage, walked out and entered the school. As soon as I entered and saw the Stivelman, I started sobbing. I don't know why. It was like in movies when someone revisits her old hometown and imagines herself during that time. I saw the drama folks sitting by the gate, going over lines, the happy people during graduation, taking pictures, telling people to put their tassels to the left... All the memories started coming back to me.
I went on the Stivelman balcony, looked down and realized how beautiful our school is. From above, I saw Judy, Erin, Ana, Sharona, Jen Hi, Lili, etc standing around by the blue lunch tables.
Then, I walked over to the classroom building area, where I saw Chenlu and Ryan, standing by the stairs, Regina and Joe cuddling, Nick sitting on the railing, Mikey and Juan standing next to Nick, talking...
I turned and caught a glimpse of the stairs by Ms. Lyon's room, where I saw Oleg, Amir, and Anton. Then right below, I saw where the class of '06 hang out--Ryan, Kyle, Erin, Tommy, Mirell...
When I heard the janitor come out of Mr. Saxon's room, I quickly walked away, towards the Asian gate, where I saw Mari, Michael Kim, Demian, Han Zhi, and many others...
As freaky as it may sound-imagining people-it was so emotional for me.
Maybe this whole college-new life-transition is making me vulnerable and teary.
Be strong! =)

HURRICANE HARBOR!!!!
Despite the fact that people may pee and spit in the water, I still had an AWESOME time with my niece (Deborah), nephew (David), and Christine. We overstayed in the "wave" pool that create these nice waves to make you shout "ooooow" every time, went on slides, and ate funnel cakes! =) Yummy! It was so nice to hang out with them again. I feel like I missed out a lot when I was too "busy" during high school.
Then, on the way back home, I met up with my parents at Hollywood Bowl! BEAUTIFUL Dvorak music concert! The cellist was nice and the best of all, my parents enjoyed it so much! It was their first time at Hollywood Bowl and my parents want season tickets next summer! I'm so happy for them!
Waking up early to go to Camarillo with Nick tomorrow. I will study for my final up there, while he's at work, meet up with Cameron to have lunch, then come down together. Full day tomorrow! Shall sleep soon~ =)

Got my name changed at DMV today!! Now, my bank card, my passport, my driver's license, and the INS record says I'm JENNIFER KOUN HONG! Yay! I just have to change my name with the Social Security Office and at school!
After that, I went to Beverly Center, SHOPPED! and bought cool clothes from Forever XXI. I love cheap clothes! hehe
My last instructional econ class was brief and sweet. Better get ready for the final!
Delicious dinner at Hurry Curry and of course, top it off with CREPE! James and Masa (the crepe guys) are so funny! hehe
Oooh! Bought a book at Barnes and Nobles... Nick made fun of me because I spend too much money on books! Books are good!
Econ report time... boo... =(

Missed a Hollywood Bowl Concert... Tragedy... =/
But had good food and dessert at Nick's family party. (Some compensation...)
Very tired. Blah.
Sleeping time.

SURFING TODAY!
It was sooo awesome!!! At first, I started with a boogie board to get over my fear of water. Then, I jumped onto Rachel's board and paddled around, attempted to stand up, and felt a sense of competition with 3 years old who can ride the waves like no other. Although I don't ride the wave or able to stand up (but I did sit up!), I can't wait until Tuesday to go again~ Yipeeee! Rachel, you rock!
Then, met up with Nick to go and watch the "Manchurian Candidate." Of course, the tickets were sold out and instead, saw people in line to get Pamela Anderson's signature on her new books. They were very crazy about her.
So the movie plan failed, but we went to the market, bought 2 pounds of tiget shrimps and bbq at his place instead. Very delicious~ haha
Got crepe as dessert (as we always do) and now, watching Korean drama!
Vacation is good~ =)

Beach today!
After teaching piano, Rachel and I headed out to the Zuma beach. There, we swam, frolicked, swam, built the best sand castle with a big moat and several tunnels, and bathed under the sun!
I wish I had my camera. =(
Tomorrow, I'm going to learn how to surf. Rachel and I found many surfing board rental places.
I can't wait! =)
Leg Tanning Result: A little better than before... but still not good enough!
p.s. I got my lap top cooler and Norton Virus 2004! Now, all I have to wait for is... my PRINTER! YAY!

Computer needs to be fixed... I shouldn't have downloaded the "Norton Antivirus 2004." I think it was a virus... SIGH...
Must leave, since I'm using my dad's computer... but I did the slander thing and found this out... *gasp*
My nieces and nephews are over at my place... They are adorable, but I'm going to keep them away from my room with fruit roll-ups that I bought from Target today. =) Ooh! I did my FINAL shopping for college! Now... I'm almost ready... I just have to pack my clothes and other things into the box... Craziness! I'm leaving soon!
Yikes!

Harold and Kumar... was funny... What a dumb movie... but I laughed a lot~ Haha
Yoga was fun today! I'm going back this coming Monday. $15 dollars a class- a bit expensive, but it's so fun!
Contacted my roommate. She didn't write back, but I hope that she does.
I've decided that I will take swimming and... (drumroll) SALSA at Berkeley! It will be awesome! =)

Lunch with Austin at Cafe Chez Marie... such a pretty place! If you are in West Los Angeles, check it out! It's between all these corporate buildings. The structure is old English style and very calm and quiet. But the best of all, the food was cheap and good! Good talk with her...
After hanging out by the well near the cafe, we came over to my house and went on the roof. There, I attempted to tan my legs.
Result: Not so different than before. But I will be patient and continue daily! =)

Wow... it's already "tomorrow..."
Well, tomorrow, I have to wake up at 7 AM, so I can go to a yoga class with Brenda in Hollywood. My first yoga class ever! It's going to be quite interesting~
TODAY, I went to see two movies- Notebook and Ju-On. Notebook was sad and beautiful at the same time. Rachel and I were in the theater full of older folks and we felt rather heartless when we didn't cry and the whole theater was sniffing and blowing noses. Then Ju-On... brothers flaked out, but Demian didn't! We watched the movie, got scared and at the same time, amazingly confused~ Thanks to Erin, I got the general idea, but still there are so many "huh?" moments.
Also, earlier today, I tried listening to Teresa Heinz Kerry's speech. Wow... You... talk... slowly... I got tired after listening to her universal greeting. She even has an Boston(?) accent that I didn't realize before. I was so tempted to turn it off, but I felt like I was being a horrible democrat, so I left it on. (Luckily) There was a problem with the reception and the file had to close. I was so happy. I still have to finish few others... I'm so behind time~ =P
Saw Katie at Hurry Curry ( I go there way too much)--her voice changed.
Before I go to sleep, I'm hoping that I can access the Resident Hall Room Assignment page... I must have no luck with this...
Sleep I fall~

Plan to surf failed miserably because Rachel was sick... =( But we shall meet up tomorrow to sun tan my WHITE, REFLECTIVE legs... =P I made a bet with George that I can make it happen... you watch, sucker!!!
After piano lesson, I went over to Nick's, played with his WebCam and took many stupid lj tests with his friend Kevin... Are you making fun of me? You watch it, you buttface!!
Then class time... I was a bit nervous about my last test, but I got an A... wow... I thought I totally failed because I had to cram everything last minute... I guess Econ isn't so bad...
And now, I'm playing with MY webcam that Nick got for my birthday... I can't seem to get the sound to work... Frustrating... but at least I get to see Nick yawn every time~ =P haha
I missed DNC broadcast today... Paulina, thanks for the PBS insight... I shall check it out tomorrow~
I love Hanson's "Penny and Me" and Ashlee Simpson's "Shadow" and "Pieces of Me"-- I'm proud of it! Leave me alone! =)

I wish I was in Boston right now. Last time I went to the DNC (in Anaheim,) I didn't understand and appreciate as much. I just went to different meetings, met people, heard few speeches, etc.
Now, I want to be there... Sigh...
I think CNN is majorly lame because I think they are rather biased in what they report, what they cut, what they instead show...
Surfing tomorrow... I hope I don't drown and die... =P

The Korean food from UniGras is making my stomach go crazy... BAH...
I thought about calling Mr. Mitchell and telling him why I couldn't make it to class, but it might a little bit embarrassing telling your teacher that you have been going to the bathroom a lot~ =P
Went for an interview and got a job from Banana Republic and Express. Since I'm working once a week at Limited, I might be able to pull off all three. But when it comes down to choosing, I shall choose the one who pays the most money~ haha
"Raising Helen" tonight and then a luau at South Gate~ yipee!!
